The hitchhiker joke is reminiscent of my friend Kari's favorite joke (miss you pareja!):

[you have to picture this and it's really really funny in that horrible "you are going to hell for this" kind of way and then I think..."HA I don't believe in the concept of Hell! Take that suckers!" But then I do believe in karma to a certain extent and that ALWAYS kicks you in the ass]
