Eurotrippin' Part 1
The Praha Goodbye aka the Weekend That Almost Killed Me!
Jenny wrote up what happened the last weekend in Praha so you can read that here! Basically, drum and bass party, a birthday party, lots of party party. It was a legendary weekend. I would also like to add that I was really sick that weekend and was running on little to no sleep. I had been planning to stay in (even though it was my last weekend) but I hate when people have fun without me. So, my black lung and I decided to party it up in Praha. I don't know what possessed us to hike 10km on my last day in the Czech Republic, but it was really beautiful. Even when I had to stop every little bit because I was coughing so much!
Berlin!
After Praha I went to Berlin and stayed with my friend Alex. He lives in a hotel, so it was pretty nice! His friend Tobi was staying there too and he hated me because he had to sleep on a mattress on the floor once I got there and I snored! Oh well. Berlin was nice...really relaxing. I was super lazy and just walked around a bunch and tried to recuperate from the Czech Republic!
Amsterdam!
I stayed with my friend Jacqueline and also met up a bunch with my friend Sandy. It was a fun time. I almost died the first time Jackie was biking me around. I am so impressed with her biking skills it's ridiculous. Really. When I had to catch the train to the airport she biked me to the station on the back of her bike with my huge backpack and stuff. And she wasn't even out of breath! I also had my first experience with intoxicated biking. Fun!
Copenhagen!
An all around good time! I met up with some friends that I know from Edmonton since they were on exchange there. And a friend from the Czech Republic. They always used to whine about how you can't walk down the street holding a beer in Edmonton and how Copenhagen is so much cooler. It was really fun! Being in Denmark is basically being in a land of beautiful people. It's unreal how the general populace looks here. Oh! And I had this totally random "what a small world!" incident. I was in the park with my friend Morten and he saw his girlfriend's cousin and we went over to sit with him. I was staring at this guy for a few seconds because he looked really familiar and it turns out I KNOW HIM! I met him during my exchange in Guadalajara, Mexico. He's my friend's girlfriend's cousin and I ran into him in a park in Copenhagen. Random! Morten's girlfriend is Danish-Mexican and same with her cousin, so it makes a bit more sense. Oh, and I was biking around with the other Morten and I FELL OFF MY BIKE! I have no idea how that happened, but all of a sudden I was on the ground. Embarrassing! But I wasn't seriously injured so it was ok.
Stockholm
I am one of Stockholm's finest along with my friends.

I met up with 3 friends from Mexico for our reunion here. There were supposed to be a lot more people, but hey, it was fun! We have big plans for the next reunion, stayed tuned for news. Stockholm is beautiful but ridiculously expensive. Oh well, Scandinavia! There are a lot of the beautiful people here. Even my Finnish friend looked around on the metro and was just like, "My god, these people are SO Swedish!!" Not a bad thing necessarily.
Off to Barcelona tomorrow to meet my sister! Out of internet time now!

OH MY GOD...I am so jealous! I've wanted to travel throughout Europe so badly and you're just hitting all of the cities I have wanted to go to! You're going to love Barcelona - there is so much stuff to do and make sure you have a goffre on las ramblas :)
Me: Just got back from NLDC and post-conference retreat. Headed to Toronto in 2 weeks for my one-year stint :)
