One year ago....

I had just arrived to Ostrava, Czech Republic. How time flies! It was kind of weird timing, my flight back to Edmonton from Mexico was on the day that exactly a year ago I got off the train in Ostrava. This past year has definitely brought me a lot more than I could have imagined (friends, weight gain, increased alcohol tolerance, ability to swear in more languages...all good stuff). I think the next year might be a little more tame, but we will see. I am going to be living with my sister and she wants to have a theme party next month. At first she was thinking about having a pirate theme party. Then her friend suggested "pirate monkeys". Why? Because multiple themes are so much more fun than just one theme! My sister then proceeded to send me pictures such as this one:

Now I am back in Edmonton for about a week and a half more, then off to Vancouver with my friend, and then moving to Ottawa. Busy, busy.

Last but not least, this is is really dorky to say, but I must spread the news. Yesterday I went bowling with 2 of my cousins and I bowled the BEST GAME OF MY LIFE. I shit you not. I was on a roll. In my first 5 turns I had 3 spares and 2 strikes. I ended up with 154 points. The funniest thing is that the lanes were all full but my cousin saw some of her friends so we bowled with some 17 year old boys and they were thoroughly immasculated by the fact that I beat them. Mwahahaha.
